For an Adult (Above 16 Years Old)

Mandatory Documentation/Informations - Adult NIN applicants must provide prior/during their NIN enrollment appointment in Leeds a National Population Commission Birth/Attestation Certificate reference number,e.g. RT233322120456910.

To apply, please visit the National Population Commission Self Service Website (https://attestation.nationalpopulation.gov.ng/welcome), a sworn high court affidavit of birth attestation may be required if you don't have the documentations.

 

For a child born in Nigeria (below 16 years old)

Mandatory Documentation Information - Child NIN applicant(born in the Nigeria) parents/guardian must provide prior/during their NIN enrollment appointment in Leeds a National Population Commission Notification Certificate reference number,eg RT24120256345.

To apply, please visit the National Population Commission Self Service Website https://birthreg-selfservice.nationalpopulation.gov.ng a sworn high court affidavit of birth attestation may be required if you don't have the documents

 

For a child born in diaspora (below 16 years old)

Mandatory Documentation Information - Child NIN applicant (born in the diaspora) parents/guardian must provide prior/during their NIN enrollment appointment in Leeds a National Population Commission Notification Certificate reference number,eg RT24120256345. To apply, please visit the National Population Commission Website: (https://foreignbirth.nationalpopulation.gov.ng/)

Both parents' NIN is required.
